Welcome to tankthetories.com. As you can see from [Why we started TanktheTories,com], we have set up this site not because we are avid Labour supporters but because we believe a Conservative government in 2010 would be a catastrophe for Britain.
In the 1980s and early 1990s, successive Conservative governents all but destroyed Britian’s state education system and health service. The ‘feral hoodies’ that the Tory press whines about are a direct result of vicious Conservative attacks on ordinary people’s way of life. They robbed a generation – and, subsequently, their children - of hope and of a secure, prosperous and meaningful future.

Cameron’s Conservatives are even worse. They cannot even claim to represent ‘Middle England’. In fact, they are at war with grass-roots of their own party. Cameron’s people are an uber elite of the stratospherically rich, aristocractic and powerful, who believe that having gone to Eton confers on them the right to govern Britain. They want us all to be the serfs in their new political aristocracy. We believe it is imperative that they do not gain control of the British Goverment in 2010.
Not all ranting
But it’s not going to all be dour ranting. Over the next few months we’ll be reporting on the best online tactics in the battle against serfdom, funny as well as serious. We are sure to re-post numerous brilliant parodies of the universally derided ‘We can’t go on like this’ and tombstone posters from the genius site [mydavidcameron.com], as well as anything else that pokes Cameroon’s turgid ego with a pointy stick.
